I can cook.....

I had pasta for dinner for almost one week. My favorite is the WAFU CHICKEN AND MUSHROOMS. I like my pasta firm but not soggy. Boil pasta for five minutes is just perfect.
Wafu base is of soy sauce flavor with diced garlic.
You may alternate chicken with SAUSAGE and instead of using mushrooms, I use CABBAGE and it taste so good!
Another favorite is TOMATO BASIL. It's main base is tomato sauce, diced garlic, diced onions, and salt and white pepper. Topped with dried diced basil leaves. HMMMM Yummy!
I also like PEPERONCHINO! Stir fry cabbage and paprika but this time using peperonchino base. Peperonchino base is also the same as Wafu. Wafu uses many soy sauce than Peperonchino. After eating this, don't ever say HI! Or they will all run away because of the smell of garlic.
Next is WHITE BASE PASTA. White base pasta or white sauce made of cream and milk.
CARBONARA uses whirte base, bacon and egg yolk. Another one is MENTAIKO. Mentaiko is spicy, lots of cholesterol.
Last but not the least the old time favorite MEAT SAUCE! I sometimes use lasagna pasta and alternately use meat sauce and white sauce and topping it with Pizza cheese.
Next week , I'll try Filipino foods.

Saying Hi after eating garlic will suffocate your girlfriend, Alonzo. That's why be bring with you your toothbrush and super strong toothpaste to wash out the smell.
I'll cook for you if you're here.

Saying "HI" is ok!

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to Jalo

Well, it's time to celebrate your birthday, it happens every year
We'll eat a lot of broccoli and drink a lot of beer
You should be good and happy that there's something you can eat
A million people every day are starving in the street

Your daddy's in the gutter with the wretched and the poor
Your mama's in the kitchen with a can of Cycle Four
There's garbage in the water
There's poison in the sky
I guess it won't be long before we're all gonna die

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday Jalo

Well, what's the matter little friend, you think this party is the pits
Enjoy it while you can, we'll soon be blown to bits
The monkeys in the pentagon are gonna cook our goose
Their finger's on the button, all they need it an excuse

It doesn't take a military genius to see
We'll all be crispy critters after World War III
There's nowhere you can run to, nowhere you can hide
When they drop the big one, we all get fried

(Come on boys and girls, sing along, ok?)

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to Jalo
wow! (background screaming, :-J %- (sound effects)I used to be able to embarrass my little sister. That is getting harder and harder to do I just love it when she is happy and blushes as well Now I have Miss Bright helping my pocket size sister help me to blush instead

Well there's a punk in the alley and he's looking for a fight
There's an Arab on the corner buying everything in sight
There's a mother in the ghetto with another mouth to feed
Seems that everywhere you look today there's misery and greed

I guess you know the Earth is gonna crash into the sun
But that's no reason why we shouldn't have a little fun
So if you think it's scary, if it's more than you can take
Just blow out the candles and have a piece of cake

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to Jalo
wow!

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you

(Happy Birthday!)

And a pinch to grow an inch!

Mr. Stan!

Adobo is a lazy people's dish, you don't have to marinate. You may just mix all the ingredients and simmer until done. Some add vinegar a little vinegar before putting off the fire becuasethey say that the smell of vinegar will evaporate. Just the advice of my Ilokana friends.

You may marinate the pork or chicken if you have time. But it will be good for BBQ!

By the way, don't forget to put potatoes, peas, paprika in AFRITADA!

If all men can cook, women will live in a very relaxed life.

POCHERO

8 servings

I kilo chicken
500 grams pork cut into pieces
500 grams cooked beef
4 T olive oil or lard
6 cloves garlic
1 med. sized onion, sliced
350 grams tom,ato sauce
2 cups broth (Chicken or beef)
3 potatoes peeled and quartered
6 pcs. saba bananas
1 piece Chorizo de Bilbao
1 cup garbanzos, boiled
1 small cabbage quartered
125 grams string beans
2 heads pechay (hakusai)
salt and pepper to taste
2 T flour(approx.)

Boil chicken, pork and beef until tender and set aside.

Saute garlic in hot oil, add onion and tomato sauce. Bring to boil. Pour in broth and simmer for 15 minutes.

Put in the potatoes, bananas, chorizo de bilbao and garbanzos. Simmer until potatoes and bananas are tender. Add cabbage, string beans and pechay. Put in meat and chicken and beef. Continue simmering until string beans are cooked. Season with salt and pepper.

If necessary thicken the sauce with flour dissolved in water.

My mother's advice : when using saba banana, (this banana can be boiled or fried), cut it in half and fry in hot oil. This banana will be added when string beans are already cooked.
