Homesick this Christmas! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve! Everyones so busy shopping for gifts and also buying some exchange gifts for New Year (OSEIB  .I wish for a quiet night on Christmas eve but I have to stay wide awake until three in the morning for work.  Talking to people whom I never met before and singing songs for the guests, sometimes makes me feel like escaping and hiding from the crowd to give myself a little solitude. If I am in the Philippines right now, I should be eating Puto Bungbong and Bibingka  (Philippine Christmas Delicacies during or every Christmas) after the evening mass. All houses are in illumination as if I'm in Disneyland. All of my friends will come to my house and join my family's Noche Buena and after that we will go house to house to sing Christmas Carols. That's the chance that my neighbors are waiting for because they always request for my solo piece and I think that makes their Christmas happy. And we also recieve lots of solicited money for our church through carolling.Since last week, I recieved lots of Christmas cards and postcards from friends, relatives, co-workers and also from my students in elementary here in Japan!  Today is my fifth day attending potluck parties, year end parties (BON NEN KA , and just a get together parties with friends and students. The problem now is to send them a return card or postcards! Just imagine 37 friends from all over the world, 9 sweet relatives, 27 co-workers and bosses, more than a hundred from my students. WOW, this needs a lot of printing and writing! But I know that these people loved me, and remember me specially this Christmas and New Year! But i'm really expecting gifts tomorrow! I wonder what will it be?  Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you!  Simply J |

Merry christmas, wish you all the best my dear...there are times that we feel sad because of emptyness but it's part of our life...just look on the brighter side of the world and enjoy the holiday as long as you can...matatapos ang Pasko hindi pa ako nakakain ng puto bung bung, puro bibingka lang as usual rush na naman ako s x'mas shopping ko...but i am happy now compared to past year... You laugh at me bec i am different, i laugh at you because you're all the same

Dear Jalo, Homesick is strong blue missing. Wish you're happy now. You hold lots of love in the world. Hope pass the hard work, you will get happy garthering with your family one day, especially a true love to warm your heart. All can realize, to make everyday happy and complete, good things will coming step by step through all your efforts and sincere mind~~~ I have an idea for homesick, before I left my home for missing, I always cook familiar home food for myself, that can console like I'm still live with my family members at home... Cooking and enjoy the yummy LOL

Elisa...... I am fine now but still a little sad! I tried calling my family long distance but unable to connect. I will try it again today, hopefully I can talk to them now.Luckilly there are some chores and cleaning to do before New Year comes. So I'm a little bit busy. Thanks for your idea. I will also make some get together potluck party with some friends tomorrow here in my place.I hope you were here and join our noisy and hearty food party. Happy New Year friend.
