Mother's Day According to wikipedia, Mother's Day is a day for celebrating motherhood and thanking mothers. In the United States, it is held on the second Sunday in May. Mothers often receive gifts on this day. Tradition calls for the wearing of roses or carnations on Mother's Day – a red one if one's mother is alive, and white if she has died. In Malaysia, Mother's day is celebrated every year on the 2nd week of May. Yeap  im off to wrap and sell flowers again for this year.Happy Mother's Day Ann

Toukki, My two wee ones have already each got me a rose. And when I told them how wonderfult the flowers were, they also threw in some dandilions to get me more flowers, LOL! As they were given with as much love as the roses, I like them just as well. Pup

Ahh great mothers should gets appreciated all the time. Mother's day is one of the biggest event in the world. Pup u lucky la  two wee ones are so cute!!!

A timely reminder...I still wonder how's my mom now in Barcelona...A couple of months I haven't had the chance to talk with her... Anyway, extend my warmest greetings to your mommy... Happy Mother's Day as well...

Why isn't every day a Mother day? When she grew us up, she didn't do it only once a year... Why do we need a comercialized event to remind us of that? ...sorry for my criticism... Have a good day... every day...  the flying squirrel strikes back

Fedders, u might want to make a phone call to mum.....? Happy Mother's day. Ignimbrite, not everyone have the luck to have mother. Some lost their mum when they are very young. Thats why, some only do it once a year. For us (the lucky ones) everyday is a way of loving our mum. However, mum still want to feel proud and show off to other mum whenever mother's day is around.

Here Mothers Day is celebrated,every 8th of May..thats my tuesday and i will be in my review center that time...might send her roses.. hmm..<<calling toukki now for a bunch of red roses..

I understand very well, and I appreciate the fact that the original idea was (possibly) to dedicate one day of the year to all Mothers and their great effort... But then you see TV comercials advertising diamond rings worth 3000 dollars "to make mother's day special" ??? ... well, you may think that I am stingy... or I don't love my Mother that much... but I believe that's more the kind of present one gives to a lover than a mother... am I wrong again? or is that a strategy to make husbands buy for their wives??? uhmm... a wife can be a mother sure... but not the husband's... who sure has a mother (in this or another world) ... I'm confused... which mother deserves the ring?PS: I wouldn't buy a 3000$ ring for my Mother because I know she would kill me for having wasted that kind of money!!! Happy Mother's day to all Mothers the flying squirrel strikes back

awwww uncle Davinci... we celebrate Papa's day but it was not as big compared to mama day hmmm papa day should be in June in Msia. I better check the calendar again.
