" Harley Davidson"

well.. after thinking and thinking about many things and looking at how much other things have cost me..
I'm going to make plans to get me a Motorcycle..
I like the "sportster XL" 1200 cc.. I want to look at the "Fat boy" to see how it sits before in get too deep into the plan..

I'm really irritated that the past few months have cost me in ways that seems liked wasted money, which but may not have been, but it could have bought me a used bike.. I don't plan to buy a new one anyway, they cost too much, and it's a waste of money to buy it new.. I prefer to let someone else spend that " throw away money that .is a part of buy something new from the show room or dealer's lot.. soon as you drive off you have lost thousands of dollars.. maybe on motorcycles, you loose hundreds.. but from the price of some used bikes, that have the added benefit of additional chrome custom work included, where they may have spent a few thousand dollars to upgrade it, and are now seeling them for far less that a basic non custmized new one would cost. I am going to take my time and look around carefully.. but I see some what I consider good deals, based on what little I know about the customizing cost of a bike.. but it's fine.. as long as I don't have to spend money to customize, I can keep it in the condition I buy it..as long as it's in excellent shape.

I even wonde how people can spend so much on them and then sell it for so much less.. I buy such things to keep, not to trade up every year, just to have a new one.. I've had one of my cars for 8 years, and plan to keep it even longer.. I don't need the newest latest model.. I just want the one that I want.. and that's usually,

they have some very nice ones full customzed and some that are factory styled custom.. emphasised by much chrome, but with a still factory natured appeal..

I have some mini-scale model bikes that are for table top presentation of design concept.. and it's beautiful.. how nice they make these mini model of plastic and rubber, with very nice detail.

The dif betw. harley and others is the way its brupppppps can be counted. So when you check out a new 'used' ones for value, also observe if the bruppppps sound is as good as new.

there are so many models... it's astounding... I like the 1200CC sporster. and some of the Fat boys.. and some of the soft tail models..
I'd really like to have the sporster, but have it modified to accomodate the extra wide rear tire..but I don't know if that's possible..
I think I will have tojust go look and see which model suits my body comfort.. but I'm really learning on the sporster model.. as I've always wanted one..
years ago.. I had Yamaha.. actually 2 different Yamahas.. but this time I'm just goingto get the one I really want.. as I want to keep it a long time..
I don't just like to trade away vehicles.. too frequently.. I don't care so much about the year model.. as much as I care to simply like it.. kinda like cars, I don't care if it's new ..just as long as I like it and it's in excellent condition.

Ahoi! give bicycling a try.

I had an 'antique' triump tiger-cub when I was 15 during those days when everyone want to throw away their nortons and get on with modern looks. Then i had a scrambler and then a monkey-bike (those with smallest wheels allowed on roads) and then i had a series of cars. Now in china, i only had bicycles, mountain bikes that exercise my whole being esp. limbs..give it a try.

I have a off road type of bicycle... I'd really love to have one of those "feather light weight" bicycles.. but, they are costly.. they ride very good.
I think I will go to the Harley dealer, just for the sake of looking,.. when I buy one .. it will be via a secondary market, they hae a book called " cycle trader" I got one to look thru, it comes out maybe a few times a months. It'
s interesting the price drops based on what people hadd to them in customizing item and then sell it... at such a loss of ..investment.

but that's good for me.. I can get what I want without having to do all the extra of part and labor to make it look like I want it to look.

looking at pictures..
the Harley V-Rod is a nice profile.. level bike.

and the XL1200 Sporster Low

I'm going to have to get one that is maybe current not to exceed may 4 years in age of production.. to insure that I have reliability and safety..
I may be able to find quality in some older one's but they will certainly have to had been weel maintained. I like many of their styles.. the one used by the police also has a nice profile.. but I do want so pre-custom work.. so I don't have to do it after the fct.

I found it.. 2006 VRod.. I was taking a friend to get something for his car and saw a place that sells them.. decided to take a look.. and then the saleman said he wanted to show me something out back, he took me in a shed..that had some other bikes.. and there is was.. excellent fit, the appeal was wat I desireed in abike and the custome work has already been done.. it's black and chorome. I will go and make efforts to get it tomorrow.. I'm excited about it.. because I like it.. I nearly left the store, because I saw one soft tail, that was very nice and it was customized very well. as I talked to the sales people.. and told him what I did not like about the floor models, he told me then I should see this one.. they gave me a list of the upgrades.. and then we started it up.. later he showed me an older bike that was full customized, but it just ws not the right thing for me..it was beautiful.. but the Vrod.. is the deal..

He told me that the engine is engineed by Porsche, and yet it has the distinctive Harley sound, but "very very tight".. sip tight.. 0-delay in the throttle up and throttle down.. it's moe than I planned or considered.. but ..I can't expect such for less.. besides the internet list them for 4k more.. without all the extras this one has. If all goes well it will be in my garage tomorrow night.. I think this bike was waiting for me..

changed my mid... bought the one that is .. top of the line " touring"

they thought of nearly everything.... so .. I picked it, so I don't have to worry about things's that I wish it had.. it already has them..

maybe at a later time when I earn some money.. I can have a second one and, then go for the sporty model.. but.. I will first concentrate on some venture that can earn me what I need to get this stuff that I'd like to have..
it's very interesting, as there are many many people who come in the showroom while I was there today.. from all walks of life..
One young guy came, he was a very young looking white man, with a very very young baby in his arms.. and he had bought a very sleek unit.. and and he said he poured money into it, to get the right look, and this white guy has an eye for style.. his bike is amazingly sleek.. it's all black with some hint's of brushed aluminum and a black powder coat on all the engine parts, with chrome valve convers .. it's hard to keep your eyes off it ..

Well. as one guy told me, that buying the bike is the least of expense, it's the custom things and much else that is the cost factor..
Well.. I discovered that to be true.. The clothes are very expensive, and so are many of the other things that go along with it.. I've already spend an addition 500$ on a few custom parts and some patches, and tee shirts. and now I want some different muffler's on it.. so thats another 300-400. but .. if I can get it right like I want it, quickly, then I can cut back and relax on the spending. ( based on money's availibity, that point will come quickly).. because.. money is limited

already.. I've put 180 miles on it.. in three days.. so.. my body is adjusting to the different muscles that are utilized... I wish they had massage places here like they do in Thailand..

Already it's time to curb the expenditures.. so far eveything I want for the bik, totals over 100$... I've probably spen 600$ already changin things to meet my comfort zone.. that's a bit much, after only having the bike for a week. but I know it tapers .. there, because the things that were changed were to obtain some added safety features, and some body position comfortas .. and a few things to enhance the chrome detail..

later.. I will get the helmet's that have the face shield and the speaker mounted inside for cold weather riding.. but I can wait a few months on that stuff. this week a guy is re doing my gate, so I can park them in the back, in the little house there, it's perfect to use as a motorcycle garage.. then I can put my cars back in the garage, so they don't get weather damanged.. and will maintain their new car upkeep of appearance. it surely makes a difference on the paint and cost to have them cleand and waxed..if they are properly stored inthe garage. besides it helps them hold their value.. because .. it does not make sesne to let such an investment deteroiate.. because I don't need to switch them for newer models.. as long as they are in great condition..

Stopped at a Kawasaki place, they sell Suzuki also.. they have a beautiful bike.. it's the M109R.. it's a cruiser styled bike.. very beautiful machine..it's has "a very full look" with a 230/40 series- 18 wheel on the back it's huge.. I've thought about it all weekend.. went back again today.. and did the credit app.. they called and said I can have it.. so I guess it's going to be in my garage too. It's amazing how the craftsmanship is of these units..

I like it.. it get's me out of the house andinto the breeze.. so.. then I can cruise around the city, or take a trek down some country roads..

it's actually two different styles of ride.. which I like the variation of such.. I take good care of my things.. so I can have these bikes for as long as I take care of them.. which will be hopefully a long time to come..

I see some pople pay a lot of money for one car.. but furtunate I can have all these for the price of one mid luxury car. it's like a bargain within the choices.. two will be enough.. it provides the variety that I can enjoy.. just to keep life simply open to have options of enjoyment.
