Calamities ... Natural disaster here and there in a months time. We have the latest so far, the big earthquake in Southeast Asia. This came along after the hurricanes in the US that devastated properties and claimed thousand of victimsalong its path. Now its Sunday and the best that we can offer is our prayer for the lost soul and to their grieving families. Hopefully these calamities spare us from more tribulations, especially for us here in the Third World for we're not prepared for such. "May God bless and keep us all, Praise be to him our Almighty" "The Lord be with us always"

With the respect that's due, and my sympathies to all affected by such natural disasters, I must protest - if 'the God almighty' was any good, perhaps he could calm the earth's power down a bit and try 'saving' so many of the poor innocent lives that have just been wasted for no good reason at all! 'Watching over us' is NOT an option. In my opinion, if there is such a God, then he takes responsibility for all that happens on this earth so by definition if these disaster are nothing more than 'natural' then I must conclude......... It will be the people that clear up the mess and comform the suffering. Thanks to those people. This is not meant to 'offend' - just a bloggers viewpoint.

It is so tragic, these events of variations of tragedy are worldwide, I do hope in sincerity that we as a people, have and become with more of compassionate understsnding of each other, and charish the life we have and the lives us those around us. And in our prayer's and thoughts of compassion, we reach out to do what we can to be of grace.
