Oooooooooooo Spooky Lightbulb, lol! My house is old. How old? So old that when I went to the courthouse to find out how old it is, the paper on file only said, "old". LOL, but true! Anyway, it's Arts and Crafts style so it must be about the turn of the century. So with that in mind and the fact that I live near a historic cemetary with revolutionary and civil war soldires buried there, get this. I went down into my basement Saturday night to clean up after my dogs, since I left them in it when I went shopping. I thought, better they go there then on my carpets. So, when I got back I went to, you know, pooper scoop. Anyway, while I'm down there shoveling away, the light that I turned on made a clicking sound like someone was turning it off. Then the light did go out. So there I am standing in a dark basement in my house all by myself. Well, except for my two dogs. So I called my dogs and they refused to come into the basement. Bingo, though relented after thrity seconds (an eternity in a dark basement) and went halfway down the stairs. I went up and reassured myself that the clicking I heard was really just the bulb popping and I would replace it tomorrow. Well, Sunday, I went back downstairs to replace the bulb. To be safe, I clicked the light to the off position. Instead, it came on. Then I check to see if the bulb was lose, but it wasn't. I was confused but still went about finishing up what I couldn't do last night. As I was scooping, I thought to myself, well, if the light does go out, it'll make a clicking sound again. But as I turned to back upstairs the light went out, this time without the click. Again I called my dogs again but this time Bingo refused to come down the stairs. The stupid one "Big Old Cow Dog" did come half way again, but he barked at me standing by the light. He never barks at me like this. It wasn't his play bark. But an upset one. Okay, okay, it is an old, old light and probably just needs replaced, but at nine at night when you're the only one in the house and it clicks when it shuts off on its own, let me tell you you begin to wonder. |

Dogs and other animals are very sensitive to the supernatural... which is why they will react when there is a presence. Sounds like you have a haunted place. Sometimes these things are just mischievous, and not really out to harm. But others can be a little more volatile. They often can not do much if you do not allow them the energy to do it. Meaning, if you are fearful, you may in fact feed them power. Instead, do not be fearful, and tell them outright and sternly, to 'Go Away'. You have the power here. Never forget that. Be careful to note if you have a change of emotions and feelings.. as some have said that spirits can cause feelings of suicide, negativity, hate, anger..etc. If such things take place, seek help soon. If things do get bad, you may need the blessings from a priest to try to clear the house. However, first, "Immediately", you should have an electrician look over the house wiring. If there is a short, it could cause your house to catch fire... especially because the older homes used cloth covered wires. Have them also look for extreme EMF leaks too. 9It may be a combination of both things actually)

pup...long time no see...steve is right about energy...... also try this....buy a 'ton' of sea salt. dissovle some in water and fill into a spray can and just stray onto corners and all round .... then scatter the coarse ones all round as well. s....salt are disinfectants that spirits dont like...they do lots of that in the east.... sorry to hear about your latest bf..... unfortunately we live too far away and soon could be even further...else i would gladly change your bulbs... ... i had a villa once and had a room converted to sort of shipwright where i spend lots of time jigging things about.... and another den where i had all my books and pc and things that are mine alone to admire....dogs are great...i still remember my gsd...... now its simple life, no bulbs to change to dogs to think about, no nothing...just writing and teaching and walking abouts.....the type of life about my age.......not your cuppa, not yet..

Puppy....The only thing I wonder about it you. Hahaha!!! Just teasing, little sis. I do remember a particular incident of my youth. I had a painting of hrses on my bedroom wall when I was probably 6 or 7. I swear the horses would move. I quit sleeping at night with the lights off for several weeks until my mother put a glow in the dark poster of Frankenstein`s monster. Those dern horses quit running then!! Many Blessings. Bear.

Gold, I never heard of the salt thing. Virgo, I didn't know that about dogs. Mine are also naturally unbrave, though. One ran from a cat and the other from a small dog. N8, haaaaa, smart mom. touch, that's an idea. Pup
