It's Still My Home

Well, I've gone and done it. I've appealed to The Superior Court of Pa. I've decided that I will not be railroaded into selling low to my ex. This is America. There should be some fairness in the judicial system. If there is not, I'll advocate for change. And trust me, this country doesn't want me advocating, lol...

market value, is the rule..... and you can't be forced to sell below it.. and if the market value drops, then go to the tax assessor, and insure that you do not sell below the assessors tax listing.. and it may even cost more tax, to have them to re-assess it, if he tries to low ball it, it you know that the assessed value has increased.. but you can request for it to be assessed to the higher value, if such has increased... and as strapped as states, are now, they'd be happy to increase their assessed value ratio.. ( not many think to do this, but it is an option)

for me.. if it came to that, I'd do that before I let someone rip it off if I wanted to keep it, or get what it's worth. and the only way they get it for less, is by my own want to allow such.

if there are kids involved, and part of it is slated to go to them, then even in a process of transferring it to the kid, the court will not allow the kids value portion to be sold below market value, even if the parties agreed.. because they cannot erode the value which is designated to the kids, because the court is mandated to insure that the kids interest is the main object.. and that objective is not to have the kid suffer any loss by the guardian.. so there's lots of way.. to help you.. built within the over all system..

if he insist, then maybe .. I don't know, but maybe he could be charged with trying to maliciously cheat the kids in the details of his actions and process.

Go, yeah, but I filed too late, so it was quashed and I'm back to square one. Sob
