Will

I'm trying hard to improve my life. Whew, this is a lot of work. I spent most of the day working on my response to my ex employer's response to my filing with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. I'm revising my first book. Practically rewriting it in the process. Looking for a better job and now a better life for my . I don't know if the judge will let me move because of custody, but I can at least try so they can have it better. Me a better job with more moo la would be great, but will the schools be better, will it be safer, will the custody judge there be more fair, can I afford a house or even to live in the area. Well, guess I just have to find out.

If you are in the United States I think there is no way a judge can stipulate that you remain in a given area to retain custody,get out of there!!! talk to a Lawyer, but I'm almost sure you can move away.

Coyote,
Back in 2000 an attorney told me that it was difficult to get leave the state and near impossible to leave the country with custody. But then a year later, the woman who's job I replaced, moved to another state with her kids.

Toukki,
Yeah, I don't really do enough of that. For fun yesterday I wrapped my kid's Christmas presents. It seems that even when having "fun" I have to be doing something to make my kid's life better. Maybe that's why I Love talking to Goannaoil on the phone so much, because that's something just for me. Well, and for him, lol! But it's very relaxing for me all the same.

Deb;

Are u filing a complaint against ur boss to the EOEC ? Are u doing it alone or do u have a lawyer, either retained by you or one from the Dept of Labor ? Wish you luck ?

Nik

nik,
the EOE provides one for free if they decide to take it to court.

Having the 'will' to change and improve probably means that it 'will' happen. They say you need luck in this world. I say make your own luck and look out anyone who gets in the way!
Go for it Pup - you will have some fun on the way - it's in your nature.
I like the expression when I feel a bit trodden down "It's MY turn now"

TG,
Yeah, I agree. Adults act worse than kids on a playground. They teach us these rules to comply with when little and then when adults it seems like the gloves are off. Hmmm, well, every dog has her day.
