Real and Fiction

Funny, I was reading this book called, "The Cinderella Pact" while using the cycling machine today, when I read how the main character was in the gym lifting weights when this guy was laughing at her about lifting 25 lbs. I thought that probably wouldn't happen in real life.
Anyway, I didn't think much of it until I went to lift weights with my legs on a machine. I forgot to set the weights and tried to use it as was and my legs couldn't lift it. Then I heard two old guys laughing at me. As I was going in order, they knew that was the next machine I would use. They had set the weights to the heaviest setting.
I just said, "What the heck," and reset the weights to three pounds. But why do some people think they have to mess with others? Isn't it hard enough to get things done without their
"input". Blah!
That's okay. I'm still sticking with it. I lost 30 lbs and I'm feeling much better for it. I can put up with loud, obnoxious, jerks at the gym. Nothing is without a price.

Ignore the jerks. One day you will get off the machine, and the guys will come in behind you and you can laugh at them as they have to set the weight down. I used to get that at the gym. They thought since I'm fat that I'd be totally out of shape. Then they got on the leg press and could barely handle one rep at the weight I just knocked out 4 sets of 15 at, lol! You'll be the one laughing some day.

excellent.. you don't have to meet other people's measure..

and who cares if someone can bench press XXX number of pounds.. or lift a 1000 pounds with his legs..
the main thing is to have health and feel fit..

Sorry, People, I'm still a Standard Member, so I'll have to tag this on here.
Texas, you don't wear pink cowboy boots do you? (Also from that book "Cinderella Pact") Yeah, I'll keep with it. There's lots of eye candy in there anyway, and I don't mean those two old guys, lol!

Dum, hmm, maybe, but I just ignored them. They wouldn't be the kinda guys I'd want to date anyway.

Touch: thank goodness that's true. I've found that what turns me off most to exercise is when I over do it. Maintaining the course seems to be working best.

Ana: lol, get to the gym then! Yeah, I've got it into my daily routine now. There's nothing as important as your health.

Might be a practical joke or a strategy to get acquainted...

Stay fit and lovely...ok!

Pup, you jock, you.

Come here. Let us have a little squeeze, lol.

<<< Wouldn't be caught dead in a public gym. Or a private one for that matter.

But all activities and pseudo-sports bar none have got their 'jocks' who take themselves too seriously, don't they?

I used to Latin and ballroom dance and was a right twat with two left feet at it. Enjoyed it immensely. But my teacher who once came in amongst the Top 50 (49th) in a world dancesport chanmpionship yonks ago, would hold his face in his hand in utter pain and despair over me, the worst student by far in his entire teaching history.

Pup, don't take it personally, men will be boyz...i'm afraid, try and find the funny-side.........the guys are trying to get your attention in their own funny(childish) little way. But make sure it never gets dangerous or to the stage that it puts you off from going to the gym.

Guten,
I can assure you all the best parts are still there, lol!
Fedders,
Maybe, but I prefer the direct approach.
Emold,
Hey, I'm not the Pilsberry Dough Boy, lol! But hey , you should have just dumped that teacher and got another empathetic one.
Pos,
I've never had a real massage in my life! I'd love to though, but make sure I get the oiled down body builder guy to do it, haaaaaaa!
Mojo.
Maybe Pos can help you remove your foot from your mouth, LOL!
