Everything was good until... Everything was good until she opened her mouth. I used to date a very attractive woman but her only (visible) flaw was her smile. She had a very pronounced overbite. Actually the correct word is overjet with crooked teeth. When she smiled it wasn't a casual smirk, it was a full open mouth similar to a comedy actor accenting a big nose or a goofy smile. That was actually her trademark, to the point where she had framed a large caricature with her big smile and hung it in her bedroom! At some point she had seen an orthodontist and knew correcting it involved removing 4 molars and wearing braces for a while. Most of the adults I know keep their looks (that they often complain about) and not go through the pain and expense of constructive procedures like that. I do know someone who came into money and spent a pile of it having all his teeth capped. Now, when he smiles it looks like a boxer ready to enter the ring! . |
