i'm going through so much stress right now its almost overwhelming! I guess I can take it as a learning experience on how to handle stress for other occassions. Last time I was under more stress than i could handle and I started having weird medical problems, so this time I'm trying my best not to let it take over me.
Well atleast AsiaFind let me view profiles again. Since my e-mails got deleted I haven't been able to contact any friends 
I've been trying to walk more than usual to unstress but its not enough....*sigh* I wish I had a punchig bag

my profile is on the fritz! All of a sudden its telling me i have to do everything all over again, I dont have any pictures posted, and i'm not allowed to view other peoples profiles so weird! Is anyone else having issues or am i just special?

i'm not saying i'm a rat or anything...but it happens to be my year this year...I dont know what that means for me or whats so special about the year of the rat. But somehow i feel special because its my year yaay! Go rats!

are racist jokes ok?

Today in my class we talked about if we think its ok that someone can make a racist joke at work against their own race or a joke against their own religion.
I said no its not ok, that person is not only insulting others but themselves as well.
My classmate who works in a law office and decides that her opinion is the only right one and when she speaks no one can argue with her (even though we often do because what she says is usually dumb) said its ok for someone of that race to make a joke because they "own it."
I'm not sure what she means by we "own it" maybe she meant we own our race so we can insult ourselves and others if we want to? I have no idea! All I know is thats the stupidest thing that i've ever heard come out of a somewhat educated person.
It always amazes me that stupidity can spew from someones mouth so freely in a respected highly competitive university.
She is black and i'm SURE that if another black person made a racist joke about her she would be HIGHLY insulted....I wish i could test my theory, but sadly finals are coming, classes are ending, and I REALLY hope im not stuck in anymore classes with her next semester.

one of my professors is originally from beijing, and since i plan on going to beijing to study and hopefully work next year I decided to ask her if there was any job i could take there besides teaching english.
Usually when any of the students have questions about the material she teaches she cant answer, but i thought since this is off the subject and she grew up in beijing she could answer it....umm ya she pretty much answered it the way she answers everything...
ME: Laoshi, do you know any company i can work for in beijing like possibly an american company I'm not sure if i just want to teach english.
LAOSHI: why dont you want to teach eenglish?
ME: I just want other options i would really like to get working experience in a company in china.
LAOSHI: ok, work in an american company chinese companies dont usually hire foreigners and they pay less.
ME: ok.....do you know of any specific companies you remember being there that i can check out?
LAOSHI: just look for an american company...
ME: ok.......xiexie.....拜拜

Why do people lie about their age? I'm really asking this question so if you have the answer go ahead and tell me. Especially on websites like AsiaFind so many people are lying you can easily tell some are about 10 years older than what they put. Some guy just sent me a message and for some reason I cant see chinese characters on this website i dont know why so i dont knwo what he said maybe it was something like "oh i'm not really 24 i'm 34 but its all good" (just guessing) ...but anyway some person messaged me and maybe they forgot their age.....or...are ashamed of it i dont know all i know is he looked like he was 35.
when people are younger they are usually so proud of their age. When you ask a how old he/she is they say it loud and proud and hold out their hand with a certain number of fingers sticking up.
Now i dont mean people who lie about their age to drink legally or smoke legally (atleast in USA) I mean people who for no particular reason just out right in your face lie. My parents have never done that neither have my brothers/sisters or myself so I just dont know why people cant just be proud of their age.
BE PROUD PEOPLE you cant stop getting older its a fact of life it happens to everyone (unless you die, but even then your body ages)
and i think about 1/3 of all the old white men have winked at me on AsiaFind so I get your point you all can stop now ^_^

You know what i noticed a lot on AFF? people say they are so much fun, they love someone who smiles, they love to smile themselves, and then they post a depressing picture like their just died. If you like to smile then as nike says "just do it" it wont hurt and it feels good. Try smiling in your pictures in fact just smile in your everyday life it will make you feel better and the people around you feel better. Have you ever had one of those days where you were down and then someone gives you a nice big warm smile and it just lifts up your spirits? (you know what i'm talking about)
If you cant seem to get a smile out then try to find a reason to smile go look up a joke or watch a funny movie...buy another dog...whatever it takes!
