Finding someone local 6/15/2005
Just wondering if you have found someone local on this site?
I've heard some amazing stories how guys would go over
to China and meet women from this site. But has anyone actually
found someone in their very own city? Perhaps it sounds
less adventurous, but at least it is convenient and more
realistic.

When you love someone... 5/13/2005
When you love someone, they can do nothing to make you mad,
every day is a blessing. When I was in love once before, I
was higher than a kite, not just once in awhile, but all the
time. I was healthier, happier and had so much energy. Though
she is not with us anymore, I still feel that energy when
I think of her and hope to find it again with someone on this
site.

There is one thing that I find very annoying here on AFF.
When searching profiles, some are still visible despite
the fact that, in many cases, the person is no longer an active
member and will never return or, has not been active for
many months.
If I search in my own city, I know of at least one former member

Use of Filters 4/15/2005
Because of the high level of messages women receive, many
will set filters to prevent receiving too many messages.
But too many filters can cause a problem. I had a case last
year where a woman wrote to me first and I tried to reply but
