Turkish food in China... 10/27/2009
Wherever I travel or live, I always have cravings for Turkish food...probably the best food I have
tasted in my whole life.
While in Canada, it is pretty easy to find...but I will be
moving to China soon.
Anyone knows about Turkish restaurants or delicatessen
stores where it would be available in China...

I have read that Chinese food is very different from one province to another within China.
Some provinces cook very spicy and others very sweet.

Learn spoken Mandarin quickly ! 10/25/2009
I am trying to learn spoken Mandarin as quickly as I can...however I clearly notice that learning Mandarin is not as easy as learning Spanish or French.
I am using a method called Talk Now. It shows pictures of things and you have to click on the pictures in order to hear the audio recordings of the words. It is not a bad method...as far as learning new words go...

Do people have a hard time here find people too hook up with 10/1/2009
I'm asking because on most of these site people are
more picky than they would be if they mmet at a bar or club
or blind date set up by a friend. Me being black is really
hard because I'm not sure what asian think of black
male, here in America you only see them with white guys and
knowing the history between the two I just don't see
